Froggy Valentine's Day Mischief

How about a little Valentine’s Day frog dissection? At this event we will reliving out school days (or in Claire’s case making up for lost time) by dissecting real, dead, preserved frogs (formaldehyde-free, thank god). We will provide frogs and scalpels, but we’d like everyone to help pitch in to cover the cost, plus a donation to a frog conservation group (we’ll let you know the exact amount soon, but it will be likely under $15).

In the spirit of back-to-school throwback, we’d also like to exchange elementary-school-style valentines before the event. You know, like when you were in 2nd grade and had to get a card and/or candy for everyone in the class. So please come prepared!

Feel free to invite other people, but please RSVP via Facebook by NO LATER THAN SUNDAY JANUARY 29 so that we know how many supplies to order (and valentines to make!).

Where we’ll get the frogs is a closely-guarded secret, but we definitely have not been breeding frogs for the past 6 months in anticipation of this day.
